Crusades

Saint Matthew’s Churches has preached & published the glorious Gospel of our Lord Nationwide

At Saint Matthew’s crusade in Houston, Texas, law enforcement estimated that over 20,000 turned out at the University of Rice Football Stadium parking lot. They heard one of our founders speak about having love for God and love for one another. Auditoriums and open-air stadiums were filled with thousands of the faithful in every major city in the United States. These photographs are only a small sample of the numerous church revivals that we conducted for decades. People from all walks of life come to Saint Matthew’s church services.

There were times that we had three church services daily at 10:30 a.m., 2:30 p.m. and 7:45 p.m., seven days a week. Some of these citywide and statewide revivals lasted two and three months. For Jesus said to His disciples, “Go into all the world and share the gospel with every person” (Mark 16:15).

Giant semi-trailer trucks carried all the equipment for these church services. We conducted many revivals across the nation, city after city, and state after state – the Gospel went forth. Our services were like Billy Graham’s crusades. Notably, Saint Matthew’s is one of the oldest ministries in the United States.

During a 60-month period, Saint Matthew’s staff of ministers and Bible teachers traveled across America to some of the largest cities, preaching, teaching, singing, and worshiping with our faithful members, some who have been with Saint Matthew’s for many years. This is a list of 102 cities, nationwide, where our staff met with church members and dear friends. We enjoyed seeing each of their precious faces, and always look forward to hearing from them. We will continue to spread the good news of the Gospel, by whatever means the Lord provides to us. The methods change, but the message never changes – Christ our eternal hope.
