What Do We Believe? Heaven and Hell

We believe that God, in His own time and in His own way, will bring the world to its appropriate end. According to His promise, Jesus Christ will return personally and visibly in glory to the earth, the dead will be raised and Christ will judge all in righteousness. The unrighteous will be consigned to Hell, the place of everlasting punishment.

There will be a final judgment in which the wicked dead will be raised and judged according to their works. Whosoever is not found written in the Book of Life, together with the devil and his angels will be consigned to everlasting punishment in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone, which is the second death (St. Matt. 24:46; St. Mark 9:43-48; Rev. 19:20; 20:11-15; 21:8).

The righteous in their resurrected and glorified bodies will receive their reward and will dwell forever in Heaven with the Lord.

We look for the appearing of the Lord Jesus Christ in the clouds to catch away those who are prepared at His coming. (Acts 1:9-11).
